Battle of the Murders

The lights shuddered in an instant, complete and utter silence in the terribly darkened cement room. A murder sounded outside of the room; hundreds of cries created an eerie noise. The attack was planned. Attack the fields of yellow, but don't get caught. Many were frightened off, but several stayed and charged, only a few yellowbellies survived. Victory was ours. Long live the murders!

I originally wrote this in high school, November 20, 2011, after learning what a group of crows is called. It was good for 2011, not great, but good. It left an impression on a few people I shared it with, but I feel it could have been much better.
